Dr. Rachel McDaniel was born and raised in Brookhaven, Mississippi where she was heavily involved in local 4-H exhibiting market goats, lambs, hogs, and poultry. For her undergraduate studies, she attended Mississippi State University where she was a member of the Collegiate Horse Judging Team and Collegiate Cattlemen’s Association. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in 2020 and then went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Mississippi State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2024.

In her free time, she enjoys going on hikes with her dog Brody as well as spending time with family and friends, cooking, and outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing, and gardening.
