At Deason Animal Hospital, our goal is to provide 24/7 emergency care without the need for a referral. If your animal is experiencing an emergency after hours, please call our office landline at 830-393-4567 to leave a voicemail or you can text 830-216-1735 to leave a message for the on-call veterinarian.

After-Hours Emergency Instructions

When you call our emergency care line, you will be sent to a machine where you will be asked to leave your contact information. Our on-call veterinarian will then return your call, and answer any questions or concerns you may have regarding the health and behavior of your pet. If the on-call veterinarian is dealing with another emergency, he or she may take a few minutes to return your call. Please do not wait longer than 20 minutes to hear back from our on-call veterinarian!

If your pet is not experiencing an emergency, please schedule an appointment with one of our veterinarians by calling the office or using the request appointment form.
