Our veterinarians can perform a microchip implantation during your pet’s regular wellness exam—no anesthetic necessary! The microchip is a small, rice-sized chip that goes under your pet’s skin, between their shoulder blades. Each microchip is encoded with information unique to you and your pet. In the event that your pet is lost, most animal hospitals, shelters and rescues, and animal control have the equipment necessary to read your pet’s microchip.
