Dr. Julie Miller grew up in Pensacola, Florida. She obtained her Bachelors of Science and Masters of Science degrees from the University of Florida. She attended St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine on the beautiful Caribbean island, Grenada. Her fourth year of clinical rotations was completed at University of Tennessee School of Veterinary Medicine, where she fell in love with working with food animals. She graduated with her DVM in 2020 from St. George’s University.
She then completed an internship in large animal medicine, specializing in food animals, at Mississippi State University. She then spent time as a large animal ambulatory veterinarian in South Carolina. She recently moved to Floresville to work as a mixed animal veterinarian at Deason Animal Hospital. She especially enjoys farm calls and working with goats and beef cattle.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her rescue dogs, Penny and Rajah, and rescue cats, Nemo and Oliver. She likes hiking, scuba diving, dancing, and spending time outdoors. Her favorite hobby is napping. She looks forward to treating all of your critters!
